Y-Immersion is a program that works to engage college students in a year-long project domestically or internationally in order to grow an awareness of social justice and environmental justice issues. Y-Immersion fosters leadership skills through student-led service trips during the U of M's winter and spring breaks. Upon return, students are encouraged to continue their work in the Twin Cities community.
We are currently looking to fill positions for staff members as well as trip leaders for the 09-10 school year.
This program is a great opportunity for Leadership Minor students to apply their skills and learn about social/environmental justice issues that you care about!
Students can direct comments and questions to y-immersion@ymcampls.org
Attached are the descriptions for both the
volunteer staff and
trip leader positions.
